Castles? We’ve Got Castles!

It’s one of those things you just don’t realize is so special because its always been there. I know with me sometimes I forget how lucky I am to live only 20 min from Disneyland and to be able to go nearly every week. That’s how it seems to be with the Irish and their castles. Andrew and I were constantly in awh of all the castles in Ireland. Some fully functioning, some in ruins but all jaw dropping and gorgeous. One of our friends in Ireland was laughing at […] Read more…

Cliffs Of Moher

If ever there was a place to be described as breathtaking, the Cliffs of Moher is it. This was one of the only things that was a “must see” on my Ireland to do list. We’d been staying in Dublin so we rented a car (I did the driving! I killed it at driving on the wrong side of the road!) and drove 3 hours across the island to see the cliffs. That day had been particularly rainy and the closer we got the worse the weather got. Once we […] Read more…

Ireland, We Made It!

I’ve wanted to travel to Europe for so long but I never thought it would ever really happen. Their parents had recently bought a cabin and they wanted us to go up with them for a weekend. Andrew and I were, of course more then happy to do so. Now, before we got there they kept calling this place a cabin, but when I think of a cabin I think of a small 2 or 3 bedroom little place… Um, this “cabin” is a […] Read more…

A San Francisco Date

Over the past year Andrew had been up to San Francisco multiple times to work in salons and teach classes, and every time I wanted to go but it just never worked out. I had never been to San Fran before. So as a surprise Andrew bought us tickets to fly up for the day! We had so much fun!  First thing in the morning we headed to the airport and after a quick 45min flight we were ready to paint the town red! We had no desire to waste […] Read more…

Maui

Maui is such a special place for Andrew and I. Of course its beautiful, and it goes without saying that it’s one of the best vacation spots for everyone around the world. But for Andrew and I it has become the place where we go when we need to stop, reset and recharge. I’d been to the islands multiple times before with my family, but never to Maui. Our honeymoon was my first trip to Maui and Andrew’s first trip to the islands altogether. That in itself gave it a […] Read more…
