If I could hand pick every detail of what would be my dream day of work it would have been this day. Is it fair to say that Julia’s wedding is possibly my favorite wedding of all time? And for so so many reasons, starting with Julia herself. She was the most relaxed, easygoing, and hilariously sarcastic bride I’ve had the pleasure to work with. She made us feel like friends instead of just her hair and makeup team. She made sure to have some of her gourmet doughnuts and champagne brought to us while we worked and wouldn’t let us leave without making sure we got photos in her VW photo bus. She just wanted to have a great time and wanted everyone else to have a great time with her.
Julia also did what we all dream of while planning a wedding, instead of making the hard decision between two details she chose both. She had two desserts, cake and doughnuts, two forms of music, DJ and a live band, two wedding dresses and two hair and makeup styles. And lets just talk about the visually obvious. Despite the fact that this was a very real wedding for a couple who’s love was so sweet it was clear to everyone around them, it was so stunningly perfect in every detail that every picture looks like a stylized shoot.
